Wynd Counts, MD, FACOG

Dr. Counts earned her Medical Degree in 1987 at the University of Texas Medical Branch in Galveston, Texas, and completed her residency there in 1991, in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology. Dr. Counts is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, and has been Board Certified in OB/GYN since 1993. She is a Lifetime Member of the American Medical Association, a Member of the Alaska State Medical Association, a Member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists, and a Member of the Association of American Physicians and Surgeons, Inc. From 1996 – 2002, Dr. Counts served as the Director of SART, the Sexual Assault and Response Team at Alaska Regional Hospital, and from 1996 – 2000 she also served as the Sub-Investigator for Alaska Clinical Research Center, LLC. |
Wendy Cruz, MD, FACOG

Dr. Cruz, a lifelong Alaskan, earned her Medical Degree in 2000 at the Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon, and completed her residency in 2004 at St. Paul University Hospital in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Cruz is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology; prior to that she was a Junior Fellow of ACOG from 2000 – 2006, and she has been Board Certified in OB/GYN since 2006. She is a Member of the American Medical Association, a Member of the Alaska State Medical Association, and a Member of the American Association of Gynecological Laparoscopists. Dr. Cruz has also served as the Department Chair of OB/GYN at Alaska Regional Hospital. |
